Rockline Industries has named Glatfelter’s Gatineau, Quebec City facility and Jacob Holm Industries as the recipients of its Nonwovens Supplier Excellence Award (NSEA) and Supplier Innovation Award (SIA) respectively for 2012. The NSEA award was created in 2008 to enable Rockline to evaluate and rate its global nonwovens supply base and to recognize the best in the group. The SIA was created in 2009 to recognize performance in the areas of product and process uniqueness, technological advancement, speed to market, sustainability and value. The awards were formally presented at the company’s annual nonwoven supplier presentation, held in conjunction with INDA’s Vision 2013 conference in Orlando, FL. Christophe Guillaumot, general sales manager for the Americas, and Richard Knowlson, global director of product development were present to accept the awards for the Glatfelter’s Gatineau, Quebec City facility and Jacob Holm Industries respectively. “This year’s competition was very close, and we are pleased to present Glatfelter – Gatineau, Quebec, and Jacob Holm Industries with these awards,” said Nick Santoleri, Rockline’s vice president of wet wipe operations. “Both companies stand out against strong competition in the areas of customer service, supply chain management, and leading commercialized innovation.” Rockline is headquartered in Sheboygan, WI, and manufactures coffee filters and wet wipes in six factories worldwide.
